This is a value budget report from sure, no idea how is has such a high rating. The resort is old and not well kept, with very few amenities. Room cleaning staff do their best but you do have to ask for things to be done such as mopping, changing sheets or needing a blanket. The beds and pillows are old, hard bed and you only get two sheets to sleep with. Had to ask front 4 times for a blanket! Main areas a dirty, the elevators are absolutely filthy. You don’t want to touch any the buttons. The pool deck is disgusting. No one is cleaning the pool, their globs of hair, trash, lost eyelashes that no one seems to sweep overnight. The pools are very old missing tiles missing grout and in the infinity pool was very small. Gets nasty quick. Bar staff was so rude day one we had to report it, they were even flinging glass bottles. Broken glass and horrible attitudes but, days after bar staff was better. Food was good for an all-inclusive and the restaurant wait staff was nice and helpful. The beach is beautiful, but having to stand and wait for 15+ min for the staff to set up a chair for you is annoying. There are many people bothering you on the beach too. People selling just keep asking, they were people renting jet skis and it was loud and not safe. The random people selling jet skis and cigars kept asking clients to go to the bar and get them a drink… so by the end of the day they were drunk loud left trash everywhere extremely disruptive.

The hotel staff were amazing shoutout to Ashlee, Randy, Anwar, Noel door staff. We went for my sisters birthday & everything was great until at 6:30 pm we received a noise complaint from British airways steward for singing happy birthday. The British airway employee escalated the complaint & in turn ruined her birthday night! But the Desk staff was amazing & ended up comp'ing us a bottle of wine for the behavior of the British airway employee. Noel & Anwar were our bartenders and were very nice and hospitable. Randy was helpful and sweet (TY). Overall the hotel was as pictured. On our the 3rd or 4th day we smelled something like fumigation but did not question it. On our last day we found out why when a roach crawled out from under the bed. :( . This is why I gave a 3 stars for cleanliness. I wish the hotel management had informed us that there were roaches because my suit case was left open & then we had to go through everything to ensure we were not bringing anything back home with us. I informed the front desk at checkout and the lady wanted to see proof which I showed her the picture taken and then we got a "sorry about that and she will tell her supervisors". Which was disappointing. But for the fact of finding the roach I would rate the resort a 4* the beach and staff a 5 the food a 3.2 as the food was not authentic but prepared for touristic taste buds. Overall I would definitely return to the Bahamas. Watchout for price gauging!

We had a wonderful stay at The Cove. The resort is beautiful and elegant, and the service throughout the property was excellent. We especially enjoyed Fish by José Andrés and Paranza, where the food and service were outstanding. The beach was beautiful, with crystal-clear water and soft sand. Our only disappointment was the beach service for drinks and refreshments, which was very limited and sometimes almost nonexistent. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely return!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay af the Beach Club, Bungalow 1. Mr. Rolle, manager, and Virginia, staff, were very professional and courteous and ensured all my needs were met. The road to bungalows however could use some renovation works - a rental car however is still fine for transportation back and forth. I highly recommend the Sky Beach Club and would most definitely stay there again.

Rooms were clean and Ms. Jones at the front desk was very helpful. Getting breakfast in a timely manner was not good. Waited almost 30 minutes only to find out what we requested was not available. If you are only there for a place to lay your head... great!
