Room had a really strong smell of wet dog, it was dusty and the room overall felt “heavy.” I had to take allergy meds to be able to sleep the first night. (I checked in late). The remainder of my time in town, I checked into a different hotel. The air conditioner worked well but it was loud and noisy. The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. I was pretty disappointed with my stay since I had read great reviews on this property. I felt catfished. The staff member who checked me in was not the friendliest, but I brushed it off because I had finally arrived in Albuquerque and was looking forward to a nice room. I travel multiple times a year, and this stay was one of the two worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The area did not feel safe either. I will not be staying here again.
