Once we complained about the mold and mildew they accused us of smoking in our room. Which was bogus. I simply wanted attention brought to the mold.

The room was clean. The bathroom needed a little touching up in the floor, and baseboard area. The shower control needed replacing. Also, no coffee maker in the room. At this time, there was no ice machine, but the clerk did get me some. The staff was friendly, and helpful. Particularly the lady working the afternoon shift. The continental breakfast was just okay.

I arrived about 12:00am. Other than the 3 dead bugs on the floor my bed was clean. I also noticed no stains on the bedding. The heat/air unit ran quite quietly. Occasionally I’ll stay at a place where the cycling on wakes me because the units are noisy. This wasn’t the case. If you need a hair dryer. Pack it if you stay here. One wasn’t available in the room. I saw no bucket to get ice or an in room coffee maker. Safety was a bit of a concern . The chain was literally held on by 1 screw that I could easily with my finger unscrew it. But I wedged a chair in between the door and closet to keep it blocked. I arrived downstairs at 8:15 am. There was a good selection to eat. Biscuits and gravy 3 types of cereal Scrambled Eggs Sausage links French toast sticks Fresh fruit Everything was cold so I ate cereal and some sausage links. Cereal was fresh and the sausage links even cold were quite tasty. I checked out by 9am. I was there a total of 9 hrs. It is worth a revisit. But I’d ask for a different room where the chain wasn’t broken.

I was here for a race and wasn't looking for a lot of amenities - just the basics at an affordable cost. This property met those requirements and more. There were several of us completing a 100 mile race staying here and when the staff found out, they went above and beyond to get us a hot breakfast an hour earlier than their normal start time. I've never had a hotel do that. So grateful! Room simple but sufficient. Fridge cold upon entrance, also appreciated to put my stuff in. My 1st floor room request was accommodated. Only "complaint" was not being able to use key card to access outside doors because they were exit only. Definitely would have been great to park right outside the door and enter/exit but it was a minor inconvenience. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Located conveniently to highway with quick access to downtown. Would stay here again.

This trip was made to explore the area so we didnt plan to spend alot of time in the hotel. This was a convenient and very clean place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very large and clean as was the bath. There were some strange holes in the bath and the door trim was coming off and rotting on the bottom by the tub. The breakfast was standard fare. I would recommend this location with the understanding that at this price point you are not getting Embassy Suites. You get what you pay for and this was very acceptable.
