Noisy room

We are light sleepers and requested a room away from the elevator and ice machine… the room did meet this description HOWEVER on the 4th floor there was some kind of loud mechanical noise that kicked on every couple of minutes for varying lengths of time. No idea what it was ( no, not our a/c unit or anyone else’s). This noise continued all night until the early morning, was quiet for maybe an hour then started up again. We found this noise very disturbing. I would ask the manager to spend an evening in room 418 to better understand the situation

The hotel was clean and convenient. The breakfast was really good. My only complaint was that the patio had a lot of spilled stuff that drew bees and we weren’t able to sit out there as long as we wanted

Everything was mostly fine with the stay. Other than i believe my room either had mosquitos or bed bugs. I woke up each day with more bites on arms and neck. The shower head never fully stopped dripping so wondering if that led to mosquitos breeding. Or if it was bed bugs? No signs of bugs during the day or that I noticed at night. But I must have 50 bites from Mon-Fri stay.
