Upon arriving, we found that the sheets on the bed were stained within, called the front desk and ask for a new set of sheets. The front desk person asked me to go into the back linen room. He then gave me the linens to remake the bed told me to go make it myself. We went upstairs, so we just wanted to go to bed for the night started to make the bed and realize it’s the sheets that were given to us again we’re also stained at that point we left ended up not staying the rest of our night

Dated but not worn out. Amazingly clean. Reasonably priced. Quiet. Kind of a no frills unicorn. Most basic places I am concerned about the sleeping on the sheets and in the bed. No such worries here.

We had 4 rooms for various family members over the 4th of July - we already have our reservation in for next year! Jessica at the front desk was delightful - hope she's there next year!

The Graduate is a college dorm-themed hotel, excellently located on the Iowa City ped mall, close to U of I campus, bars, restaurants, etc. Parking in IC is expensive so their parking arrangement at $20/day is a good deal. The hotel’s cafe is convenient and roomy, with tables with plug-ins for devices. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed, blackout curtains, lots of device charging ports and both a desk and side chairs. The bathroom was the only minus, needing an updated shower enclosure.

The room had such a strong smell.of pinesol it gave us a headache. They came ans replaced towels our first day but didn't bother making the bed and on our second day they didn't even bother replacing towels.

Ive spent less for more. Not worth it here!

Easy and fast check in and check out. We were passing by the hotel on our way to the event we were in town for and stopped to see if we were able to check in 2 hours early. The staff said our room was available. This was a very big help for my family and greatly appreciated. Breakfast was simple but all items were good quality. Easy check out at 6:00 am.

This hotel allows pets, so the neighbors dog woke up early and didn't stop barking since 6am. In my room, there were some dead bugs on the floor, and it smelled moist/wet. The room was still good amd comfortable. I slept well when thedog was gonethe next day. The food was good, with eggs and sausage served. The staff is not the approachable type, but they still provided good amicable service when I asked for extra laundry bags.
