The location of this hotel was great! Close to many restaurants and bars and right in the middle of Old Town. Hotel was very clean, had a nice waiting area and the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We had to have the heat turned off in the room and open a window as it was a bit warm as the building’s AC system was shut off for the season. Would stay here again.

The room was clean and quiet. The hotel itself was centrally situated with train and bus stations nearby, shops and dining choices as soon as you stepped out of the hotel.

A hotel with excellent staff, let down only by the tired condition of our room and bathroom, long overdue a refresh/redecoration. Lighting was poor and didn’t work properly. There was no sign of any air conditioning but at this time of year that didn’t matter. Bathroom basin took 10 minutes to drain. Breakfast buffet was excellent but with only a maximum of two staff ever present it took up to 20 minutes for our coffees to arrive. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay as the hotel was comfortable and in a good location.

While we enjoyed our stay, we did find the bathroom to be in need of a little cleaning. For instance, the shower curtain was old and dirty and the windows had some dirt on them. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. We also enjoyed the location as it was close to shops and the train station.

I stayed at Hotel Wellenberg and really enjoyed my experience. The hotel is perfectly located in Old Town, tucked away from the main streets but still just a short walk from great restaurants, shops, and bars. The place has a quaint charm with a touch of luxury that makes it feel special. I especially liked the cigar bar—it was a nice, cozy spot and conveniently located inside the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive vibe. I had a great stay and would definitely book here again when I return to Zürich.
