Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alpina. Check in at the other hotel was quick. I had an issue with the door lock and I was moved to a different room which was fully renovated and much nicer than the first room. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here on my next visit to Zermatt.

Even though it’s old building, but room service staffs are well done to do the cleaning. Receptionist is very helpful and nice. He gave me ideas where we can take good pictures, and gave us some ideas where to eat. 7mins from the train station, good location.

Nice, clean hotel in a convenient location with friendly staff. Comfy bed and beautiful shower. Only real down-side is the walls are thin; we heard everything going on in the neighbors' rooms. But this hotel is a great value in a pricey ski resort; a definite find.
