Location was perfect for spotting birds and doing short (10-30 minutes) drives to other good birding locations. We booked the room with balcony. The room was clean and the bed was good. Patrica is the lady that manages everything. She also cooked great meals for us. So please order the lunch and dinner also there. We are very happy and enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommended!

This is hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed at! Its absolutely beautiful. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Very clean. The pool was a lot of fun for our 6 year old daughter. The breakfast was incredible! We would stay here again in a heart beat. Shout out to the whole staff team at this hotel. You really know how to make sure guests are well taken care of and happy.

This hotel is located near the La Fortuna village, right by the waterfall. It was a great location and also situated near a rain forest. The breakfast was ala carte

I loved the welcoming we received. As soon as you arrive they offered a complimentary cocktail 😊. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner was one of the best meals I had.

This was a beautiful property and so lush. There were so many varieties of plants, flowers, animals, and trees that I couldn’t get enough of just walking through the grounds. The thermals, especially at night were so magical. I can’t say enough about this resort.

Our stay at Cielo Lodge was absolutely unforgettable and exceeded every expectation. Cielo Lodge offers an amazing variety of activities, making it easy to experience the beauty and adventure of Costa Rica. Whether exploring nature, enjoying guided excursions, or simply relaxing and taking in the scenery, there was always something wonderful to do. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous — lush, peaceful, and immaculately maintained. What truly amazed us was the incredible wildlife surrounding the lodge. We saw colorful birds, monkeys, and so many beautiful animals right in their natural habitat. It felt like being immersed in a tropical paradise. If you are looking for a place that combines luxury, adventure, incredible food, outstanding service, and the superb wildlife of Costa Rica, Cielo Lodge is truly a hidden gem. We cannot wait to return.
