This was an acceptable location to stay for an overnight layover before carrying on driving up the coast of Thailand

A genuinely beautiful hotel surrounded by dramatic mountains and lush greenery - so stunning that I’ll be returning next year! I genuinely want this hotel to succeed, so I’m sharing some constructive feedback that I hope management will address as the hotel matures. The biggest areas for improvement are room cleaning/maintenance, service and the restaurant. Room cleaning was surprisingly disappointing, and despite being a new hotel, my room already had several scuffs, chips and scratches which is a huge shame as these are beautiful rooms and what guests see most. Staff were kind, caring and well-intentioned, but there often seemed to be more staff than guests, but still confusion in the service at times. The restaurant prices felt a bit high for the quality, and the mandatory 10% service charge is naughty when guests have no realistic alternative options and have already paid to be there. Service could also be much more polished (even just assigning one member of staff to always serve that table would cut down much of the staff confusion). Separate drink/food/desert menu too. Would love to see a poolside drinks/food service, a small gym, a better snack selection, laundry notifications when items are ready, clearer airport transfer information and WhatsApp communication with reception. Overall, a fantastic hotel with enormous potential and I really enjoyed my stay. With a few operational improvements, it could easily become one of the standout places to stay in Khao Sok.

Our stay at Khaosok Rivercamp was fabulous, the place is well-kept and surrounded by beauty, and the staff was absolutely fantastic - super friendly and accommodating. Would happily stay here again.

It was a great place to stay. Clean and smells great. Staff helpful and friendly. Has a 24 hour laundry. Breakfast was okay.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Normalerweise sind Fotos immer sehr geschönt und in der Realität sind die Zimmer nicht so schön. Das ist bei This great Place ganz anders, Die Unterkünfte sind einfach in einem so schönen Zustand und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet das mam sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Die Gastgeber sind so nett das man das Gefühl hat man würde Freunde besuchen. Der Empfang einfach sofort so herzlich. Warum diese Unterkunft nicht 4 Sterne + hat ist mir gar nicht klar. Allein von der Ausstattung der Minibar könnte man sich Tage ernähren incl. Longdrinks. Unsere Kinder wollten überhaupt nicht mehr hier weg. Es gibt auch 3 Bettzimmer die hier leider nicht zu buchen sind. Einfach die Unterkunft This Great Place direkt anschreiben. Man hat sofort einen persönlichen Ansprechpartner auf Englisch und auch Thai. Wir haben so viele Tips bekommen für Unternehmungen in der Gegend auf die man selbst nie kommen würde. Selbst nachdem wir seit längerem umgezogen sind bekommen wir noch tolle Infos rund um unseren neuen Spot. Ich würde immer wieder hier her zurückkehren, to this very very great place and people.
