I have a disability so I requested a handicap room with a walk-in shower with grab bars. The floor of the shower was smooth with no texture and there was not a safety mat in the room to put on the shower floor. While taking my shower the floor became very slippery and I fell all the way down landing on my right hip and elbow. The grab bars were also slippery offering little help to break my fall. Getting up was very difficult but I managed to do so. I then placed wash cloths on the shower floor to finish. When finished and dressed I called the front desk to have them come to my room to discuss what had happened. Two employees came to my room but neither one asked if I was okay. I suggested they purchase a rubber mat for the shower but I guess that is up to corporate to decide. Two other items were discussed about the room including a large spider in the bathroom that I was unable to chase down and a pair of used latex gloves that were left on the bedside table. I asked about needing to do an incident report but they just wanted my phone number. I have not heard from them.

This was my third time staying at this property and everything was mostly fine. This was the only time I ever felt "rushed" to check-out. Housekeeping knocked on my door several times despite check-out being 90 minutes away and a DnD sign on my door.. One knock happened when I was in the shower.. Not a great feeling for a solo traveler trying to enjoy a quiet morning. This hotel is hidden gem and I will more than likely stay here again, though. Safe area, easy parking and near the interstate.

Surpassed my expectations traveling with family and there was room for all in the king suite! The staff were very polite and accommodating during our stay!! Perfect choice especially if traveling with family!

Very clean - off the beaten path so nice & quiet! Breakfast was just ok - more choices would be nice.
