Everything was great and easy to be there for a nice night or two! I do not like the webcam check in, it just feels so much less connected. I know it works for the staff, but it’s an odd dystopian feeling! Staff was nice, room is good! Good price and area!

Beautiful Historical Hotel.

It's not bad here, but definitely won't come back because of one thing: I got a frightening email the day I had to check in claiming my card on file was invalid and that my reservation was going to be cancelled within an hour. I was literally at LAX on shuttles, then a cab trying to get over to this hotel. I responded with multiple messages, called the hotel dozens of times and nobody responded. My card was never invalid. I checked in at the hotel just fine. It was like the message never happened, but the hotel definitely wrote that in a message sent through Expedia. They need to get better at answering their phone. Guests might think this place is a scam, even though it's not. It's a decent place to stay if you're not picky. But it's got the same problems as any motel - loud area, screaming kids, etc. I don't personally care, but I know other people will make a bigger deal of that. My only complaint is the hotel's failure to answer their phone and communicate better with guests if they threaten to cancel a reservation and not even help the guest figure it out.

THE BEST HOTEL. Every trip is better than the last. First, I valet with Fred, who adds to the concierge, top notch service here. Check-in with Max, who greets my family & myself with the ultimate hospitality. I feel like I’m home. The vintage hotel is amazing and offers certified nostalgia at every turn. The attention to detail in room design, and especially the vintage tile in the bathrooms! The design is luxurious and housekeeping keeps the rooms glistening. I’ve stayed in a dozen or so different rooms and they have all been equally vibrant and memorable. Don’t miss the red carpeted stairwells that span four floors and display the ultimate Hollywood tribute. This hotel is my absolute favorite. My daughter loves it & my Mom can’t stop singing its praises to all (this was her 1st stay). Thank you for making each visit better than the last!

We stayed for one night & unfortunately we would not repeat our stay the room was outdated as soon as we shut the door there was a huge gap underneath so we had to put a towel, there was so many tiny fruit flies which we had no idea how they were appearing after we kept killing them! We were very frustrated that there was absolutely no counter space near restroom sink! We seen lots of cob webs on the light fixture which made it look dirty. I also want to mention that there were no outlets to charge our phones only one was near the restroom very inconvenient. The one thing we liked were the beds very comfortable and of course the location was perfect for Disney!
