Unexpectedly perfect

Unexpectedly perfect. We try to break up our trips from the Bay Area on our way back home in far northern California and decided to stay here one night. It will be our regular "rest stop" from now on. Immaculate space, super comfy bed, plenty of towels, quiet, affordable, spacious...plus a hot tub! Which was much needed self care after a whirlwind wedding trip. The breakfast bar was ample with a surprising selection of dietary needs options. And the pancake machine is worth trying at least once.

Overall a nice property in a good location but I did take issue with their check in. I pre-registered 2 days prior and part of that was uploading a picture of my driver’s license which I have never done before. Once it was completed I was instructed to check into the front desk for my room key. When I got there they demanded to see my license and when I asked what they did with the picture I had already provided I got a nonsensical answer. I was not at all happy but showed it to avoid further confrontation. That is why I knocked a star off of their rating.
