Would stay again, great place.

We stayed here because we were attending a concert at Commonwealth Stadium. The beds were comfortable, newly renovated rooms, staff were welcoming and kind.

Temps in town were over 30 celcius, and we had to swap rooms multiple times to find a room with working a/c. Then there was a large thunderstorm and the window/wall starting pouring in water. We tried to switch rooms again, but they couldn't find us a room that had a working a/c unit without water coming in through the windows. (I think they tried around 8 rooms or so). So we ended up staying in the room we were in. Staff tried to be helpful and was kind, but there was nothing they could do. It wasn't just our room. The front desk had lots of guets dealing with water pouring into their rooms and kept offering more towels to try and control the water. Buckets were set up throughout the lobby because of all the leaks coming in.

Amazing stay! Staff goes above and beyond for you, everything was so clean and would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

I did not love our stay at the Sandman, wouldn’t stay there again. I didn’t find it overly clean or well maintained especially for the price.

Fine. And great price. Restaurant was fine. Gym was just OK.
