Property looks just like the picture, very spacious, can be very hot n humid entering the country. We visited Feb 2020 and left snow behind. When we got to Taylormade we were very pleased with AC in every room including the common areas and ceiling fans as well.. Ms Powell was excellent, attentive, inviting and there to help when needed. Puerto Secko Beach was the highlight of the trip. We strongly recommend this Taylormade property.

Very impressive and well kept property in a quiet gated community. We did not have a car, so organizing transportation was challenging, but the grocery store is only a 20 minute walk away (for those who enjoy walking). I did not rate it 5 stars because it was difficult to communicate with the property managers in advance. They finally contacted me the day before check in, and it was not obvious that I needed to pay a balance and deposit in cash US dollars upon arrival (most places accept credit card). We worked it out, but it did add a layer of unnecessary stress - they could have simply sent a message with the balance and instructions after booking so that travellers could be better prepared.

Overall, we had a great stay, mostly because the staff and waitresses were so friendly, welcoming, and wonderful. However, there were a few issues that need attention. When booking, I specifically requested and paid for a king-size room for myself, but upon arrival, I was given a room with double twin-sized beds instead and my request was neglected. Thankfully, my parents did get the king room they required. Additionally, our bathroom had no hair conditioner on the first day; even though I informed the front desk, it was never refilled during the entire stay. On the dining side, most of the food across our 3-day stay (three meals a day) was super salty, though some dishes were good. Lastly, I wish there was more consistent music during pool time; while they do play music, it is limited and depends heavily on the day's scheduled events. Great staff greeting and friendliness are what I love the most about this place, but please respect customer room requests next time instead of overlooking them.
