Best front desk staff and valet in New Orleans!

Pros: It was convenient to most areas in/near the French Quarter. You could access the property and your room from your phone, no keys. The staff were nice. It has a lounge/bar. Cons: Dated. There was no microwave and a VERY small fridge, which sat on the floor. The pool, and surrounding area, definitely needed a cleaning. From my window the pool water looked dark.

The room, house and gardens were beautiful. The location is great to walk to music and restaurants. Communication from management was slow (no one is on site). There was a mixup with our access code and parking. We parked on the street and had no issues.

When we got there it was too early to ck in. We waited until 4 after waiting 4 hrs our rooms still weren’t ready. After seeing others get checked in I went to ask how much longer. For some reason they thought we only wanted to be on the 4th floor which wasn’t the case. I told her higher is better. She then checked us in immediately around 4:30. In 4 days our room was only cleaned the day before check out. After going to the front desk to complain and she didn’t put any toilet paper in there. Also housekeeping was very rude when my husband asked for clean towels. We had a suite which was very nice and clean.

It was a very enjoyable stay. My only complaint was that there was no mini refrigerator in the room, or a dresser with drawers. Great decor, clean and friendly staff.
