We really liked it stay at this hotel. It may be the closest hotel to the train station in Wengen; literally not more than 200m! Our room for a family of 4 was quite spacious; in fact there was space for 6 people. The breakfast was good but not as good as some of the other places we stayed at in Switzerland. The bathroom was basic and our shower head was a bit askew.

This was our first trip to the Jungfrau region and we spent four nights at the hotel Victoria Lauberhorn. We loved the area and the staff was highly accommodating to our needs, including my wife’s food allergies. The only thing I would do different is the choice of rooms. We chose the increased rate for a “panoramic view” which sounds amazing because there is so much beauty to look at. What they don’t mention is that the patio is shared by the entire first floor. Therefore, we had people walking by our windows a fair amount. I would’ve preferred a more private view where we could leave the windows open and enjoy the night air. Other than that, it was absolutely a great place to stay.

It is very close to the train station and in the heart of the small town of Wengen. It would have been a perfect location except that my room overlooked the main little street with open air bars and restaurants below my window. The bar patrons were very loud until late at night which was bit annoying as there is no AC and you must leave the window open for ventilation. The breakfast was varied and ample but it is a good idea to get there early (8am) because there were large groups that picked over everything by 9:00. The bathroom was just ok....the shower stall was very small. If you are large it would be a tight fit. I am not a large person but I could not have shaved my legs in the small space. I would stay there again but would request a room that was not so noisy.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Victoria. The location near the train was perfect. The rooms were nice and adequate. There are many restaurant choices nearby. We used the outdoor jacuzzi and it was very nice after long days of hiking. The breakfast was the best one we have had at a hotel in Switzerland.

For the price that I paid the room was kind of small. But the breakfast was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. I would stay here again cause the location was great. It was so close to the train station that we just walked, and it was located right on the main through fare of the town.

This hotel is located just steps from the train station AND the main shopping street that includes the handy Coop. My single attic room had the most amazing view of the mountains and Lauterbrunnen valley. There was even a skylight over the bed where I could view the stars. The area is also much quieter and less congested than the valley.

This is wonderful hotel. The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. Staff were helpful. The spa facility a great after a long day of site seeing. The breakfast is amazing! The view from our room was beyond measure! Highly recommend!

When we reached to the property around 2 pm May 19th I already requested Expedia for early checking Expedia customers care called and verified that they will provide us the room before 3 pm. We reached 2 pm but they didn’t give us the room they were giving room to all the other customers but not to us keep saying that room is not ready. Wheil waiting we went to their restaurant and my husband fell down from 2 stairs and got hurt. They didn’t bother for that. Plus construction was going on infront of our room no privacy.

We took the room as posted by Expedia. So small we were forced to pay $80 per day more for a decent room. Restaurant by hotel was awful we send the plates back steak was wasted. Hotel has nice location direct by railway station. Wengé is nice not that touristic as other towns. We had an excellent fondue in the Deck restaurant.

The hotel is very close to train station, about 4 min walk. The buffet breakfast has a lot of selections. The pool should close at later time so visitors can enjoy and relax after the busy day program.

All the staff were welcoming and helpful but particularly Jessica at reception, Pedro in the restaurant looked after us so well and was so kind and accommodating. Marieke aka ‘breakfast mama’ was lovely and fun and friendly each morning overseeing everyone had what they needed for a tasty and generous breakfast.
