The only thing I can say is that I bet this place was beautiful when it opened, the appearance from the outside looks more updated than the inside. The design of the building and the breakfast area is lovely, it’s just too bad that there isn’t funds to do the upkeep to the carpets and dining booths, I’m not saying that it isn’t clean, it just needs new flooring and some repairs. I bet when there was a restaurant lounge it was a pretty happening place. I cannot complain about the price (just over $200 for 2 night)and maybe that reflects the improvements/mantienece that needs to be done. I would stay there again, staff was kind, biscuits and gravy looked great!

Excellent experience overall.

The room was clean, I enjoyed the lighted mirror no fan though which was odd. The grounds and building were kept up well the biggest downside was the internet. I had to stay theee a week on personal business so the internet going up and down wasn’t crucial but if I needed to work remotely In would've been extremely frustrated.

Would give this a better score but the hotel is right next to train tracks with only one way in and out. I got caught for 30 minutes waiting for the train to cross. Not sure why they decided to build in this location.
