The Bridgepoint Hotel is hit and miss. It really is never great. It's sorta like a La Quinta wannabe, and let's face it, La Quinta isn't really top notch either. Having said that - this is normally the niche that works for me. Clean, pet-friendly, self-serve breakfast. That works for me. Oh - and I expect internet. I kinda need to be connected when I travel. So - this trip the Bridgepoint failed on two fronts. Clean: well mostly. But the room was moist. The bedding was moist. Damp furniture. I'm guessing the 100 degree temps on the waterfront just have to be accounted for. They probably hadn't been running the AC until they prepped the room. The sudden change in temp condensed the water on everything. At some point in the middle of the night the room dried out. So OK. But kinda yuck too. The hotel seems to have minimal staff. I think maybe a single attendant at the front desk. The woman who checked us in was very helpful. The evening attendant probably did as much as possible. Here's the problem. Sketchy internet. No connectivity in my room. The WiFi in the lobby worked, though. So I let the attendant know that we didn't have internet. He told me he was surprised that I got connected in the lobby. Normally that doesn't work. Hmm. That wasn't the answer I expected. He proceeded to explain that there wasn't anything to be done. Oh well. (Really? Not possible to get internet in a hotel? Waffle House has internet.!) Fine, I've got Verizon, but only 4G.

Very outdated and dirty hotel. Also no early check-ins, so check-in line at 4:00 took forever! The staff was okay but seemed distracted on their phones and also gossiping among each other. The resort fee was an unexpected fee on my card after pre-paying for hotel ahead of time. This hotel was the biggest catfish ever!!

The night we arrived the lock on the condo didn't work so we had to wait for security to let us in. Maintenance came the next day to fix the lock and said all was good. We realized the next day that the door wasn't locking at all. Maintenance came again and tried to fix it. It worked once and again we had to wait outside in 90 degree heat waiting to be let in. In the condo there was only 2 spoons and 1 fork for us to use, we had to go buy silverware. The kitchen floor was not cleaned well. Cigarette/cigar butts on the balcony and in the screened in porch. During actual check in the associates had little personality other than the Manager, she seemed concerned but admitted they do not get much funding to fix issues.

It was big water bugs in the property. Dead and alive. Also was dead flies on the twin mattresses. The property was very spacious, the showers were not clean and neither were the bathroom sinks or toilets. Over all beautiful property. Just needs better up keep. & a real number to contact the property. 55555 doesn’t work. Parking is also a plus with your own 2 car parking.

This place was terrible. The pullout mattress wasn't fit for my dog. They say it sleeps four but the mattress was not only terrible they didn't provide an extra blanket. We arrived about 30mins before the office was supposed to close coming to find out no one operates the office and the phone number didnt work. They didnt proved us a room number or door code to get in. Thank goodness for expedia, It took almost an hr to get my details so we could get in. It was supposed to be a full kitchen but ended up with a small fridge and a 2 eye station. The floors were wet & sticky. There were cigarette butts left behind the couch, it smelled bad and there was animals stains all over the carpet. The bedroom is from 1985 and sleeps like complete crap. The blanket hasn't been washed in forever. Just a poor poor stay. To top it of it was almost $500 for 2 nights, not worth it at all.

The hotel was nice and clean. The amenities were good. The pool was excellent. Our neighbors in the room next to us were a little loud with their tv and laughing all night. Luckily they left 2 days later. We didn’t see anyone to tell about it. It would have been better if we could have seen someone and talk about it but other than that was good, and we enjoyed it. The last day we saw someone of the hotel and he was very nice. One of our outlets was not working but everything else was ok and good.
