We stayed there for six nights. We had to sleep with the lights on, on the first night, because we couldn't turn the lights off. The next day, a staff came and couldn't figure out what was wrong then he called a technician. Technician came and he thought it was Xiaodu (AI voice recognition console), but then he figured it was a malfunctioning light switch, as well as a malfunctioning Xiaodu. Instead of replacing the switch, he just showed us how to press the other switches to by pass the main switch. Instead of replacing the Xiaodu console, he just told us to manually use the switches to control all the amenities The worst part was their HVAC system. the thermostat allowed us to set the AC as low as 16C, but it can only go down to 23C. He told us the temperature is programmed by their central system and it cannot go lower than 23C. I didn't get a single night of good sleep. If the hotel doesn't want their customers to choose their own comfortable setting, then why was there a thermostat in the room? We also saw live cockroaches crawling on their breakfast counters in two occasions. We just feel very disappointed with our stay.

Absolutely loved this stay. Just a 10-minute walk to the Bund, with charming old houses along the way. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Great water pressure in the shower. The laundry room on the 4th floor was a huge plus—wash and dry in one go. Nice gym for a quick morning workout, and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Lujiazui at night. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even recommended some great local Shanghainese restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms were very clean and quiet. Staffs were very helpful in general, and vehicle used for transfer to Disney land was classy. Hot spring was awesome and relaxing. Restaurant food were great quality. Overall highly recommended.
