"Nice hotel next to century park metro station"
Easy to find since it's just accross to the century park. There is a familymart next door and a supermarket nearby. Metro station is just beneath the hotel. Fast checking and out, friendly staffs. Comfy bed and nice balcony. One odd thing: no exhaust fan in restroom.

"Great location, comfortable hotel."
Decided to splurge on my last few nights in China and this hotel was a great choice. It is on Ninjang East Road which is the major pedestrian shopping strip of Shanghai, very easy 5 minute walk from the Ninjang Road metro station. I was given an upgrade to an executive room which is big and comfortable, included shower AND bath tub. Staff were overall great but as I learnt in China the directions should not be taken literally - when they say it's the building next door they mean the building next door to the building next door. Check-in and check-out was easy. Would stay here again and definitely recommend to others for a bit of luxury that doesn't beak the bank in Shanghai.

It's old 5-star hotel. It's outdated and needs renovation, but maintained well by its staff. The swimming pool is only 6mx12m as told by fitness staff. Don't understand how a supposedly five star hotel can have such a tiny pool.

"Great check-in, poor guest next door"
Great check-in experience & service from the staff - thank you. However, my stay was ruined somewhat by a very noisy hotel guest in the room next door. Very loud music audible, in-room smoking was discernible, and noise only quietened after two calls to the operator as an SOS. If I had stayed an extra night, I am sure I would've been moved rooms / something more substantial would've been done, but it was an unpleasant experience that put a damper on my last morning at the hotel - I had to leave the building just to get away from the noise.

"Classy, convienient, affordable"
Great place to stay near Hongqiao Airport in Shanghai. Would have been awesomeif the hotel offered a shuttle bus to guests. However, the taxi ride takes no more than 10-15 minutes and costs a mere 20-25 RMB. The rooms I was offered was nice and spacious. However, the King size mattress was a bit uncomfortable for being worn out around the sides and needed to be replaced or turned upside down!! Would have been nice to see a an iron and ironing board in the room as sometime a traveller just doesn't have enough time to wait for the clothes to be pressed, especially realizing it at the last minute. Breakfast is classy with huge variety and can satisfy all tastebuds. One word of advice though for guests. The hotel did end up charging more money than the rate offered by Expedia. No harm in keeping an eye and asking questions at the time of checkin for avoiding any surprises. Overall experience , however, was excellent. A very well equipped fitness centre was an icing on the cake. Will definitely comeback to this hotel based on the recent experience.

"Nice Hotel at Downtown"
The hotel is clean and nice. Staying at downtown Shanghai, you can walk to many famous places, such as waterfront, Nanjing Shopping Street, and the Civil Plaza. There're several grocery store nearby, including Family Mart, Xian Food Store, and one traditional Shanghai restaurant. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to the waterfront. Just walk two blocks, then you can take the shuttle bus to Pudong International Airport, instead of taking taxi or subway.

This hotel is old but clean , everything is still in good condition. Having a good view out of window, of course not comparing to super 5 stars hotels near river . Price is fair. Very close to airport and just next to underground, both taxi or underground are ok. Not many places to have meal around, so better go further away to other station

Shanghai is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Shanghai, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Shanghai hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
