We were relocating and the U-Haul was broken into. Barstow proper did have signage that states they aren’t responsible. The night shift clerk was very prompt in contacting the police and providing a great proactive approach to getting things handled.

Such a lovely hotel.

The room was so lovely and catered for everything we needed. It was such a pleasant surprise to have so much space. The room was laid out nicely and very clean. Check in was particularly welcoming but later we came down and were greeted by Lori who was so helpful and genuinely kind. In the morning we were told breakfast was 7-10 by the original check in staff (not Lori). When we came down at 915 it was cleared away, however, the lovely lady helped us with bread/juice/yogurt to take up to our room. It was so nice.highly recommend the hotel. If all homes to suites are like this, I will definitely use again.

Route 66 trip stay over

It is a beautiful property. The rooms were large and very comfortable with lots of off the ground space for items. They did have the bedbug protections cover on the mattress. The outdoor sitting area was lovely. The lady who was in charge of breakfast was very kind and friendly!

This is our second stay at this Home2 Suites in Barstow. The hotel is clean. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and the price reasonable. We'll definitely book here again.

Clean and perfect!

Rooms pristine and super clean. Huge! Pet friendly accommodations. We loved our stay here as a stopover on longer trip and would stay again. Hotels later in our trip paled in comparison.

This is a clean and comfortable spot to stay. Rooms are spacious for families and breakfast is nice. However, we had a room on the 1st floor and apparently it was adjacent to an exterior smoking area. Our room filled with the scent of marijuana late into the night. I wasn't sure where it was coming from. Upon checkout, I politely asked if we had been next to a smoking room because the scent was unpleasant. The woman at the front desk was very dismissive. She told me it could be from the area outside of our room or from area farms. I said it must have been the outdoor smoking area and maybe next time we would request a room that wasn't adjacent. She said, "Well, it's California." I'm from California, too. It's not news to me, but she could have at least apologized for the inconvenience and offered to help us with our future reservation. Poor customer service.

I’ve stayed in this particular Home 2 Suites for the past 4 years when going from Az to the Ca coast to escape the heat. I have a dog and this hotel is very accommodating. I always get a ground floor. I usually have food and the rooms especially a full size refrigerator are just what I need.

Great place to stay in Barstow. We had a king suite with full kitchen. Roomy, clean and comfortable. We were able to cook our dinner and store our cooler full of food from our cross country trip in full size refrigerator. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.
