Disgusting pool. I sat at the ledge of pool with my kids and a cockroach ran past me! So gross the water was disgusting and sketchy people at the pool. The room was decent. Never will stay at this hotel brand ever again.

After a long day driving the last thing you want is delays and hassle. When I pulled up it was top notch service all the way they were fast friendly helpful there was a small food concession so I could grab a couple of waters on my way to the room. So far great parking quick service convenience and now to the hotel itself. Very nice clean stately but the best part was it was very affordable. Come to the holiday inn exoress and you will be pleasantly surprised. Great rooms clean friendly staff great breakfast almost wish I stayed another day.

Nice enough, but not the pool

This place is old. The pool was nasty and not useable…good way to disappoint kids. Don’t stay here if you want to have access to a nice pool.

Clean room, great service.

Great customer service. Room was clean. A issue was the door didn’t shut completely. When the room was remodeled, the door should have been replaced. We had to push the door up and close it with the locks. The other issue was the refrigerator froze my food items instead of keeping it at 37 deg temp as it was set to. I told the front desk upon check out.

The room was standard and beds were comfortable; however, the pool was dirty and the hot tub was cold and had debris floating in the water. The day shift front desk lady was wonderful, which was the polar opposite of the evening before desk person.

Nice bed, tired room.

The hotel was very dated, the pictures that I saw did not paint an accurate picture. But I will say that the only part of the room that was modernized in the last 5 years was the most important part and that was the bed. It was basically what I expected from a holiday inn. The bathroom was very dated and showing its age. The worst part is that the toilet was clogged with paper and not sure how the janitors missed that when they serviced the room after the last person stayed there. All in all it was cheap and comfortable enough. Hope I don’t have to stay in Barstow again anytime soon.

Gross poo

To start the staff at the check in desk was not friendly. She seemed very put off to have to check me in. We stayed at this hotel back on June 5th, 2025 where the pool was green and murky. Spa was cold. We were told by staff they were getting both fixed. We decided to give the holiday inn another chance only to find both the pool and spa green, slimy and murky. We were not able to utilize either one. The room was fine, but the air conditioning wasn’t working well and was very loud. We were very disappointed with our last couple stays and will not go back.
