Great stay in the heart of Victoria. Around the corner from the inner harbor and empress hotel, hop on hop off bus, restaurants and easy. Staff was responsive, comfy beds, enjoyed our suite. Only issue - sliding glass door to the small balcony was jammed. Maintenance came but I couldn’t open again after he left. Shd have two small chairs or stools on patio.

Downhill Fast

We arrived early for our check in at 4pm, but we weren’t allowed to go up to the room until close to 4:30pm. Construction started next door early in the morning. This new building being constructed blocks the view of the harbor. The A/C is loud and constantly turns off an on. The couch was uncomfortable as well as most of the chairs. The location has turned out to be the best part about this hotel. But for the price, it is not worth it. We will be staying somewhere else next time.

We spent three nights in Victoria and had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was spotless—immaculately maintained and very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our visit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. A great experience all around!

This hotel was perfect for our family of four and small dog. We were greeted with smiles and excellent service from our valet, Mur, once we pulled in. Once checked in we were surprised with delicious, warm cookies from the pleasant front desk staff. We loved the convenience of having a Starbucks on the lobby floor which we took advantage of every morning during our dog's potty runs as well as having a cold pint at Bartholomew's in the evening. The hotel is in close proximity to all of the touristy spots as well as all of the shopping and restaurants on Government. We also enjoyed the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! We will definitely be back.

A coffee cup was found in the corner of the room. The bathroom ventilation fan was full of dust. I had mentioned it was my partner 's birthday, so there was a chocolate gift in the room. The room faced the ocean.

City view is construction site + Rude Staff

The City/Water view is completely blocked by a construction site even on the 16th floor. If we had that information before, i would have booked another hotel! I have attached pictures of the same. Rude Staff at frontdesk : When i checked in the Staff said i have free breakfast for 2 next morning since i am also a Gold Hilton Honor member but when i went for breakfast next day the other staff says NO free breakfast since i booked from Hotels.com. This miss information was embarrassing and it delayed my plans for the rest of the day. Worst is the staff never apologized for the miss information and just kept saying its the policy!

My stay at Doubletree by Hilton hotel was excellent overall. There is only one small thing I would like to suggest is Q-tips. I would be happy if you put some in the bathroom.
