Great swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna. Rooms were a bit outdated and a bit of a stuffy smell, but everything was very clean and staff was very friendly. There was instant hot water down the hall so we could have tea in the evening and the room had a fridge for our leftovers.

How are the rates so low?

Our 3rd stay here since last Chrismas, mostly due to affordability. Our room was clean & had new carpeting. Front desk staff are always friendly & efficient. Pool change room floor needed a good cleaning. You can see they are doing upgrades, but overall the property feels 'tired' and a 'patched up'. They also appear to rent out rooms long-term. This time there were several families with small children shrieking from the balcony when we checked in, running/playing in the stairwells & inside courtyard, laundry drying on the balcony railings. And although our room was clean & it was quiet at night I felt uneasy this visit. I am not sure if I will book here again.

For the price we were expecting a dump. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, comfortable, the bed was very comfortable, the water pressure was amazing, the coffee was very good. We were facing a very busy street but once the patio doors were closed it was quiet. The place is conveniently located close to restaurants, grocery store, liquor store. Overall a very pleasant stay. Also the staff were very courteous, attentive and professional.

The hotel was very affordable and conveniently located near everything we needed. However, it’s an older building, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. The air conditioner was loud and not very cold. We were initially given a room that hadn’t been properly prepared, but the staff quickly moved us to the next room. It wasn’t a huge issue, but better communication with housekeeping would help. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re just looking for something budget-friendly — you get what you pay for.

We were on the main floor, room had no window except for a sliding door on the back side. Some sketchy people were able to walk past your room and peer in if they wanted if the door was open. Don’t store important belongings in plain view. Price is what you get, but for an unexpected stay at $55 was good enough.

It was extremely noisy in the hotel and all the traffic it’s like there’s no sound barrier at all with outside noise I stay in Vancouver a lot and it’s quiet compared to this place
