This hotel is super unique and located in a very historic building. It’s incredibly decorated and has a perfect Adirondack feel. We really enjoyed our time there. The restaurant on the property has outstanding service and food.

Our stay was wonderful! The property was just exactly how it was listed. Beds and pillows were of excellent quality. The house was clean and provided everything we needed. The owners communicated with us and attended to our needs. We definitely will be staying there again.

The location of the property was great! Close to shops and restaurants and Mirror Lake. There was convenient free parking which was a definite plus. Our room, however, left a lot to be desired. The room was very large and clean which was great but it was quite dark because even though we were on the second floor, it felt like we were in the basement because the view out the window was a mound of dirt and foliage. There was very little overhead lighting in the room which contributed to the feeling of being in a basement. The shower floor was extremely slippery and there was nothing to hang onto. There was one tiny shelf which was taken up by the shampoo and body wash provided by the hotel. It also would have been nice to have a removable shower head. There was no closet in the room so there was no place to hang our clothes. In general it seemed like the hotel needed some love with chipped paint, scratches on the wood (like in and around the elevator) and stains on the hallway carpeting. Breakfast was provided but it was nothing to write home about. For the price we paid, we would have expected a better experience.
