The staff at Santa Croce are exceptional. They are eager to help and are very knowledgeable of the city. The location is easily accessible from the train station but still quiet and peaceful. Easy walking access to all the major sights makes this a great location for a stay in Venice.

Great hotel, but room was very small. No stopper for the bathroom sink, so we were unable to wash out any clothes. Great, quiet, off the beaten path neighborhood. We loved going to the square in the evenings where all the locals gather & the children play. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Service in the hotel was excellent.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very helpful. The staff really worked hard to ensure guests were happy. Great location in a quieter area out of the hustle and bustle. Definitely a great boutique hotel when you want to be able to escape the nosy touristy spots.

The staff was very helpful as far as helping secure reservations for dinner, tours and water taxis. The hotel was very comfortable, clean and in a quieter area. It was very easy to walk to everything we wanted to see.

Great property location and the room was nice. Check in unluckily took over an hour because there was only 1 attendant and 2 people ahead of us, but she was very helpful and gave advice for what to do all around Venice. The room was boat themed because it didn't have any windows, but there were ceiling windows. Unfortunately the shades malfunctioned in the middle of the night and opened, making us wake up with the sunrise. The 2nd morning the shades stayed closed but there was very loud nonstop drilling going on nextdoor, starting at 8am.

Wonderful.

From the moment we arrived we felt like treasured guests. Though our needs were not particularly great, we felt they would have moved heaven and earth for us. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the shower terrific. The breakfast was perfect. It was like Joseph II telling Mozart there were too many notes. The hotel was in a quiet area, yet only 10-15 minutes walk to the Rialto bridge. Special kudos to Martina, Marta, and Andrea. Your kindness and service were extraordinary.

Amazing hotel, welcoming staff.

Hotel staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was high quality and made with fresh ingredients. Room was excellent and very clean with a large comfortable bed. Hotel wasnt too far away from the main attractions. 15 minutes walk maximum. Overall, a great place to stay. I would definitely stay again!
