Delightful Accademia Pensione in Dorsoduro

The Accademia/Maravege is a delightful family-run historic Pensione that has been cosily modernised in a good convenient location in the Dorsoduro area near the Accademia Bridge vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal - with many excellent local restaurants! The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and well-furnished, and the breakfast selection is good and tasty. It also has a lovely front patio and rare courtyard garden. Highly recommended.

Beautiful historic hotel!

Very special beautiful old world hotel in a perfect location! They were kind enough to find us a bigger room with more windows and a fabulous view after our first night. Lovely breakfast each morning. Would stay here again next time in Venice! Loved it!!

We took a water taxi from the airport dropped us off in front of our hotel. Also water bus is close by very important if you have luggage.. quite with two outside areas you can relax. The hotel is so cute staff wonderful would stay here again..

What a beautiful hotel! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Venice. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous, but we also loved our room! We had a lovely canal view with an ocean breeze and a very comfortable bed. The room was filled with beautiful furniture. It even had a Murano glass chandelier! We enjoyed the bar area near the lobby where there are evening snacks and you can order cocktails as well. The location was very walkable to all points of interest as well as amazing restaurants. What an enchanting place.

Good hotel for the money. Location was about a half hour walk to the train station, which is why we chose it. Staff was helpful and room was very clean. It was not over-the-top fancy, but breakfast was wonderful!

Unique property with excellent staff and atmosphere. Rooms are clean with excellent air conditioning, if a little small (but still good for Europe). Breakfast was very good with great variety and proper coffee. The large garden & outdoor spaces as well as the common lounge areas are delightful. Would love to stay here again.

Gorgeous Pensione in a unique setting in Venice. Very helpful and courteous staff. Beautiful gardens and delicious breakfast. Only stayed 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer.
