One of the most beautiful and charming hotels I’ve stayed in in a long time. The architecture, the furniture with the window drapes, beds, artwork, walls, Morano glass chandeliers in each room. The nice included semi private breakfast was a cherry on top. The staff was friendly, the location was excellent.

This was my fourth visit to Venice and we stayed at this Hotel since we were meeting with family that were staying in the St Croce district where this hotel is located. The location although not in the center of the more tourist spots has a vaporetto stop near by that will take you anywhere. Beautiful historic but old rooms. Out comforter was soiled which is unacceptable specially for the price. We stayed in (7) different hotels during out two week vacation in Italy and the breakfast here was below average and the absolute worst by far of all of the hotels.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The property seemed clean. I was disappointed with the decor in the lobby. It was redecorated and lost the charm it had before when I stayed there. Some areas in my bedroom and bathroom needed fixing. I was told the property gets worked on yearly and they hadn’t gotten to my room yet. My friend’s room had a shower with a shower curtain even though she paid the same price as I did. Just didn’t think this hotel was worth $400 dollars a night!
