Front desk staff were excellent as was the breakfast spread - the most varied buffet I’ve seen outside a cruise ship! The location is ideal for train travellers; no need to worry about crowded ferries when toting bags. The bath/shower was a bit of a squeeze, but nothing you couldn’t adapt to. The old monastery building js a delight, as is the garden area.

The shower was in the middle of the hallway. The hot water pipes are right next to where you stand to take a shower. It gets so heated that I almost burn myself while taking a shower. I found garbage under the bed from previous visitors. The walls are covered in carpet which had a lot of dust. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.

Great hotel really close to the train station, a 3 min walk. Very clean with a great breakfast. Room was updated and comfortable. The layout of the room and wall colours are a bit quirky. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This is an amazing property in Venice. It was our first trip to Venice and we were so glad we stayed in this neighborhood rather than the crowded area near St Mark’s Square. It is an easy walk (about a mile) to the major tourist attractions and the payoff includes less crowds, more local food and peace and quiet! We will definitely stay here again on a return trip!

Great hotel with convenient location.

Very close to train station. The staff were so friendly and sent us to a fantastic local restaurant. The room was clean and had air conditioning. The breakfast which was included and full of many delicious options. I would definitely return here.

My teenage son and I stayed at Hotel Abbazia for one night in August 2025. The place has a pleasant courtyard and the breakfast buffet was simply amazing! The staff was welcoming and helpful. We appreciated the convenient location, near the train station and from a walkable distance from the cruise passenger terminal (Terminus Passageri). The transfer from the airport was easy too using Allilaguna.
