Stayed in a beautiful room with high ceilings and a balcony with a stunning view. Alessandro at the front desk was very helpful and gave me directions with a map to use the vaperetto when I needed to get around with my luggage.

The property is fantastic in an excellent location made all the better by its staff. They have to be the most attentive staff I have come across from the moment we arrived until departure. It’s optional but they suggest you leave room key with them , why I ask ? So we can talk and get to know how your day was and your plans for the next day and so they can suggest ideas etc just so they get to know your names.. it’s the little things that matter. Oh and the breakfast is lovely too all the usual continental meats , cheese , breads , yoghurt fruit cereals , scrambled eggs and bacon .. Venice itself is amazing I was blown away and Ca Vendramin Zago is probably set in the best place you could wish for with excellent restaurants, bars , cafes within minutes walk. If I ever return , it’ll be back here , (assuming it’s available )

We had a great stay in this hotel, the location is good and the hotel is unique, we felt as if we were somewhere special. The rooms were clean and fabulous, looking directly out onto the canal. Breakfast was excellent and Alessandro on the front desk was especially polite and welcoming, as well as being helpful with his restaurant and other recommendations. We would stay here again.

Amazing stay here for our honeymoon. Room was beautiful, probably the nicest place I’ve stayed in across Europe. Breakfast was really nice all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. It was our 2nd time in Venice so we kind of knew our whereabouts. The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walking distance. Rialto bridge just a short 13 minute walk and the main station Piazzale Roma is 15-20 minutes not bad whatsoever. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Venice you will not be disappointed. Hopefully we can stay here again on any future visits.

A real gem in the heart of Venice but in a quiet area away from the noise and hordes of day trippers. Everything is in a fifteen minute walk. If you walk away from the centre, the area is very italian - the streets are full of locals - as are the bars and restaurants. We had a lovely very large room over the canal with a shower room and bathroom. Breakfast was a limited but very appetising buffet. Highly recommend

We loved the history of this hotel. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. It was in a great location away from the crowds. It was close to great dining options and right on the water. The breakfast was small but provided enough options to start the day. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Host alexsandro was incredibly informative, welcoming and went above and beyond to help our stay. He made us feel like we were coming home, despite never visiting Venice before. He sat us down to explain the areas and recommended us routes for our itinerary: . Breakfast was faultless hosted by Michaela who was super friendly and kind throughout. The hotel is central yet peaceful in quiet off street. Absolutely fab and would recommend!

Could not have been better

We were greeted like long lost relatives and treated like royalty by the entire staff. We love the uniqueness of this very old building and the care given to it by the staff. Morning breakfast was excellent.

We had a good stay at the hotel, which provided everything we needed for our visit. The staff were exceptionally kind, and the lobby was beautifully designed. Breakfast was enjoyable as well. While the room itself differed from the online photos and was smaller than anticipated, it was sufficient for our one-night stay and didn’t detract from our overall experience. A delightful touch was the thoughtful gesture by the staff, who arranged a heart of rose petals on our bed to celebrate our honeymoon—a truly lovely surprise. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, though I’d recommend opting for a larger room if staying for more than a night. Overall good stay, but I would pay extra for a larger room if staying more than a night.
