"Perfect for a cruise transfer"
This is an old hotel, which has been updated within the last ten years. Great location to the Cruise lines and they offer a shuttle service for 10 Euros. Great Breakfast. Easy walking distance from the train station, maybe 10 to 15 min, and its on the same street so no turning. Breakfast is superior and they have free wifi.

"Nice hotel with free parking"
Very clean and very helpful staff. Located at the bottom of the town, so it's very convenient to get to the autostrada. Free and easily maneuverable parking. We just drove up to the Etruscan sites and base of the medieval part of Tarquinia, parked in the town lot and walked through the lovely tiny streets. Highly recommend Villa Tirrena if you are driving through Lazio or to Tuscany.

"Very convenient for cruisers."
Nice to have the free shuttle to the cruise terminal. The restaurant was lovely, so was breakfast in the morning. Fresh cappuccinos and croissants, eggs and bacon, and everything was good! Don't expect a lot of sightseeing in the area. There isn't much to do, but you will get a good night's sleep, and the price is right.

"Pre-Cruise Stay"
Can see the cruise terminal from our room balcony, close to shopping, restaurants. We walked from the train station (approximately 20~25 mins). But we both have a carry on only. Breakfast area was nice and food was good too. Staffs were great and friendly.

Best Western Hotel Viterbo

Via San Camillo de Lellis 6, Viterbo - Map

Outside centre around 100 km north east of Rome. Thermal baths and bus station close by hotel. Lake Bolsena not too distant with protected natural surround. Pilgrim's way long distance path connects to Rome. For those interested in camping there good sites. From hotel it is a good walk into Viterbo's old part of city centre, but interesting place with much of medieval core standing. Where sensible shoes. It is hilly. There are many steps and uneven surfaces. Where there are paths, these are in poor condition. Most local roads have poor surfaces and driving is very aggressive. Not all places are open in March and it can be cold and breezy, especially . Main rail connection is at Orte which is on high speed line and has stopping service to main Rome Fiumicino without need to got to Rome Termini. Local rail services in Viterbo are on single track branch line.

Tuscania is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tuscania, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tuscania hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
