"Great Pre- Cruise Stay"
Unfortunately, we only booked 1 night in Hotel Villa Delle Palme, prior to departure on our cruise from Civitavecchia, because we would have enjoyed a longer stay. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate special needs and requests. Rooms are spacious, and beds comfortable. Our private balcony overlooking the beach and gardens was beautiful. The property is lushly landscaped, and beautiful terraces overlook the sparkling sea, allowing for perfect outdoor dining and cocktail spots. I can imagine this hotel as a wonderful vacation destination during summer months. I wish we could have stayed longer.

"U.S. folks visit Rome + Cruise ship departure"
From initial e-mail contact, to the pick up at the Rome airport, to check-in and a glass of wine.....everything went well. Lovely family run small B & B, was traveling with my elderly parents who the staff went out of there way to make extra comfortable (w/2nd Flr elevator). After morning coffee and light breakfast, we went walking the local town. Small supermarket, restaurants and shops are close. Rooms were very clean and maintained. WiFi works, but you have to search around for the sweet spot (downstairs hallway middle), as the walls of the villa are solid concrete. Hotel is beach front, May is a good month to book before the massive European June forward holiday season begins. Many nights I sat in the outdoor garden and had a glass of wine and some cheese, very relaxing. You are directly on the road, beach area, nearby club....so there is a little noise, bring ear plugs and a sleepy mask (also helps with jet lag). Final transportation to the Cittv port to pick up our Cruise ship was so greatly appreciated. With proper lead time the Family and Staff will go out of there way to meet your requests. Remember to watch out for European Holidays/Bank Holidays that close things. The city shuts down from 12-4 pm everyday, so learn to relax. Restaurants open at 8pm for dinner, B&B has proper recommendations, distance is walkable, atmosphere is dress causal. I recommend this B & B. Travel time from Rome Int Airport is 45 minutes. Travel time to port is 35 minutes.

"Very convenient to port "
Our stay was unfortunately too short to fully enjoy this sweet town& surrounding area. Train station was a 10 min walk, 1 he. Trip to Rome. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious.

"Hotel Closed"
When we arrived the hotel was closed but fortunately we were relocated to another hotel along the seafront Hotel Cavalluccio Marino. Hotel Cavalluccio Marino was incredible with a fantastic seawater pool with amazing views. Our room had a balcony although the room could have been cleaner it was still comfortable. The hotel was definitely an upgrade from this tired looking hotel. The fish restaurant was also fantastic with great views and atmosphere. Lovely location

"Sweet bed and breakfast"
The room was small but clean, and the view was beautiful. The bunkbeds were not comfortable, but not terrible. The owners even offered to leave breakfast out for us at 5 am, as we had to leave to catch our flight in the morning. It felt homey and secure all at the same time.

"Not 4 star"
A nice hotel that is very run down and tired - it's not 4 stars! The air con in the room didn't work and was very hot. It seemed as if the place had pretty much closed down for the season. There was no pool bar or anywhere to get a drink if you sat outside. The breakfasts were pretty poor too.

"The Perfect Place"
Great Hotel, we stayed one night before our Cruise from The Port of Citivittechia. Very easy to get to by train from Rome, only a 5 minute walk from the local station, complete with suitcases on wheels. Following day short taxi ride to our ship for boarding, very easy . Hotel staff very helpful.

Santa Marinella is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Santa Marinella, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Santa Marinella hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
