The man who received us when we arrived was very helpful and courteous and gave us a good room that fitted our needs. Thanks! It was quiet in our bedroom through the night, which is a bit weird since the hotel is located right on the highway. The scenery in the ack yard is very good and we enjoyed watching the sunset. My only complaint is that most of the drivers in this area are very impatient and like to speed. I always had somebody tailing me closely when we drove to LaTuque and going home today right until we hit hwy 55.

Pleasant two nights' stay by the river.

Specious clean relatively newly renovated room. Walks out to the green backyard. Direct access to the river through the backyard. There are Muskoka chairs to sit and relax by the river. Room had all amenities expect a microwave. Bathroom was very specious and well equipped. Staff was very friendly and polite. Food in the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced. There is a gas station just on the other side of the road.

Beautiful property to stay at, however, we were not happy about how rushed out the door we were by the hotel staff. We still had an hour left of our stay, yet the staff were trying to get into our room to clean it before we had all our stuff! I was still collecting my things in the hotel, when a staff all of a sudden entered the room (he thought we were done I guess). What if i was in the middle of changing my outfit and I was baked? I have never felt so rushed out the door like that at a hotel.

very nice hotel in the woods. I loved the drive to the hotel, one side is the river and the other side is the mountain/bushes. Stayed there for 1 night and drove to Montreal. Driving out was even more beautiful, we stopped at one of the parking lots and the scenery was amazing!

Disappointing Cleanliness and Maintenance Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall maintenance of this property were far below expectations. The entire building has a greasy feel and smell that’s noticeable as soon as you walk in. The exterior is neglected — dirty walls, spider webs, and piles of old dead leaves everywhere. Inside, the windows haven’t been cleaned in a long time, doors are chipped and in need of repainting, and the corridors are dirty. The carpet is worn, stained, and should be replaced entirely. A deep, thorough cleaning from top to bottom is urgently needed, along with fresh paint and proper upkeep to bring this hotel to a livable standard. Very disappointing experience.

I loved the beautiful trees and the river right next to the property. There is a walkway between chairs and it is great for a view or pictures! There is a gas station right next to the hotel, which is super convenient if you ever forget something. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel, and the food is decent, a tad bit expensive, but decent. They speak fluent French there, but some employees speak some English as well, so if you’re an English speaker you’ll feel a little out of place, but you can get the help you need. I will say the beds had some hair on them, and the TV didnt work, but other than that, very pleasant stay, and I would absolutely stay again.

Magnifique endroit avec toutes les commodités sur place : bar, restauration dont les repas sont succulents à des prix fort abordables et un personnel très accueillant. Décor enchanteur face au Saint-Maurice. Chambre climatisée et rénovée avec balcon et accès à la cour arrière pour une soirée en plein air.
