Disappointed by False Advertising – Stay Away! I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed. The main reason I booked was because of the amenities shown in the pictures—specifically the indoor swimming pool and spa/sauna. However, when I arrived, I discovered that none of these amenities actually existed. The photos and descriptions online are completely misleading. It felt like a clear case of false advertising, and I felt deceived. If I had known the truth, I would have never chosen this place. I hope this review helps others avoid the same mistake. Travelers deserve honesty and transparency, and unfortunately, this hotel failed to provide both.

If the Spa/Therm was not on site, the property would be less than 3 stars. They assigned me to a room where the telephone does not work; no English instructions for the air conditioner and the television. though it advertises as 4star, there was no robe, slipper's and turndown service. The staff could not find my reservation, had to see my confirmation to add my daily breakfast. The location was its second best feature.

Rooms were modern and clean in an incredible location!

It is a great hotel for a quick visit in Cologne. Located in the city center, walking distance from the Cathedral and surrounded by shop and restaurants. The rooms have new furniture and provide everything you need for your short stay.

Room was small but large enough for 2 travelers. I loved the small elevator so we didn’t have to go upstairs with our luggage like it happened to us in Hamburg. Elevator wasn’t working. Central station was less than 10 minutes walk. The dome 5 minutes walk was well as museums.

I was a little worried as it was one of the least expensive hotels I could find in Cologne but I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about an 8 min. walk from the main train station and about a 2-3 minute walk from the Heumarkt where you have many amazing options for meals. We had a courtyard view from our room which was pleasantly quiet so I can't give my opinion on how loud or quiet a street facing room would be. The hotel was very clean and seemed well maintained. The staff were very friendly. If you are a smoker there is a small patio in the courtyard where you can sit. Our room was quite nice especially the bathroom. If I were going to complain about anything it would be that there is no coffee maker in the room and the mini fridge is full of beverages you can buy so if you want to put your own food or drinks in the fridge there really isn't room. I can't give an opinion on breakfast as we went out to eat instead. Overall it was a surprisingly great stay (considering the price per night) and I will gladly stay here again if/when I come back to Cologne!
