The night we spent in Tofino was great & the setting is beautiful. The hotel was clean, well maintained & had parking right outside our door. I would highly recommend this location if you’re ever in Tofino

After an "okay" stay in Nanaimo my wife wanted a place with a balcony and a view. So after a quick search we dropped our last day there and booked here on short notice. We had a slow but scenic drive we arrived in Tofino and were surprised to see this place after viewing wonderful photos. BUT it was more than we could have even expected! Everything was more than we hoped for --- a balcony on both sides of our unit >> one (8 x 12) to watch all the people walking about, one to sit and watch the harbour (4 x 25). So special --- we watched for hours! Next morning we we were up early to see the action out there. The owners were so helpful. We had a unique unit even bigger than we needed with 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a dining table. Other rooms all seemed to have full balconies over looking the harbour on both floors. DEFINITELY would go there again!!

Room was clean and nicely updated. Parking was easy and they even let us keep the car there for a few hours after checkout so that we could explore the town without worrying about parking. Would stay again for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view of the harbour is spectacular, the grounds are beautiful with nice lawn and flowering shrubs. Our room was super clean with a nice little private balcony. The location is central to all shopping and restaurants easily walkable.

best older hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Right in the middle of town which was important since it is hard to find parking. The price is exorbitant in summer for what you get, but it’s understandable since accommodations are in high demand. I don’t regret staying there since many of the other newer accommodations that are a lot more expensive require that you stay a min 3 night stay.

We probably had the best view in the hotel of the harbour and Meare's Island. An idyllic setting. We were able to leave our car parked at the hotel and walk to all the shops, restaurants and the water taxis & seaplanes. The room was a little pricey but there is high demand in Tofino and not many places to stay.

Overpriced.

The price is outrageous for all motels in the area. The bottom unit gets noisy with people or pets above. No A/C in the unit, but there was a table fan. The bathtub is tiny.

This motel is definitely a little expensive, but there’s not a lot to choose from, . . nevertheless, Tofino in August is not a budget experience, . . so, get a room, if you can, and make sure you plan ahead, to get maximum value for your visit. The Tofino Harbourview is clean, friendly, and offers a great location to explore the shops and restaurants in this community.

Start with the good. Staff were friendly, and let us check in early. The hotel is very old and dated. Needs major renovations. Rooms were updated however furniture is very old. NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! Room was very hot. Beds are newer and were comfortable. Room amenities are terrible. One plug by beds, no good for CPAP or charging devices. No ironing board, iron or closet. They are charging $560.00 CAD a night for this room, which is ridiculous. Anywhere else this would be a $99.00 room. Way way way overpriced for what you will get. Then again, Tofino is a resort town and everything is very expensive here……..now you know!
