The property is ok but the front desk personnel was totally tactless, when saying that if they found blood or any other body fluid on blankets or towels they would let me pay for them as they need to buy new ones. Before me there were more guess checking in and neither of them were warned about it as I described. As soon as I entered the room given to me I checked the linen. The bed spread was burned, it was changed for a second one stained from bleach. The towels …. Well not looking good. The housekeepers tried to do a good job but nothing help me feel better. I just stayed because I paid in advanced and that was my first time in Tijuana. (My last time in Jatay Hotel)

While the staff was great the management was horrible. He berated one of the staff members in front of me and my children during our breakfast. The rest of the staff was very accommodating. The beds in my room were 2 doubles. They were extremely hard like sleep on a wood board. The room was very small. They did clean it daily and provide 2 bottles of drinking water daily. My car was broken intobin the parking lot. Luckily a security guard stopped the incident. The view of the beach was very good.the hotel restaurant was not good. The food was cold.No taste at all. There are many better restaurants in the area that are cheaper and tastier. We stayed 5 days and found a lot of better places to eat. There is air conditioning in the rooms but they do not use it in the hallways or elevators. Next time I am in town I will stay at a different hotel. Again the staff was wonderful but the hotel itself was life staying at a prison instead of what is supposed to be a relaxing get away.

I got there early and they wouldn't budge on a early check in. I counted 6 guests in the whole hotel. The hotel employees were all standing around the lobby. The room was mediocre.. A small window to view the ocean. The table between the beds was broken so the drawer wouldn't close. I felt at home in my mexican motel 6! Positive, it had a good shower!!!
