A brilliant havelli hidden away in backstreets only a short distance from both fort and clock tower. The host family are incredibly helpful, keen to help arrange any activities or offer any other information as well as welcoming drinks and snacks. The evening thali meal upstairs is amazing, and the situation right under the fort with spectacular views is unbeatable. Highly recommended. We are a family of 5 with young teenagers, and in 2 days we fitted in a cookery class in a real Indian home, a jeep trip out into small villages observing local handicraft work including pottery making and textile rug weaving, as well as spotting local wildlife, a walking tour of the oldest part of the blue city and walks around the fort and other sites.

No hot water, no shampoo, no soap. Terrible service. Ambience is good. Dont go just by looking at the picture

The boutique hotel The Rohet House was a lovely oasis once inside the gate. The interior of the rooms was a modern take on Indian Interiors. The bedrooms were a good size. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

I travel a lot. This is simply the best hotel I have stayed at. An hour out of Jodpur in rural Rajastan, run by the noble Johit family. The service is out of this world and the food even better. If you want to spoil yourself in an oasis of calm in hectic India this is the spot for you. Simply a fantastic place.

Room was absolutely clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Great service & beautifully maintained property. Right from the time we arrived at the property, welcome by reception staff, staff at the restaurant, room service staff, security personnel…all were extremely courteous. Credit goes to the management for training its people & maintaining the property so well. Will visit again whenever in Jodhpur.

The room was clean, the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was decent. The overall property also looks quite nice. However, I found it to be quite crowded and somewhat chaotic. There were also large tourist groups and company conferences happening at the same time, which made the experience harder to manage.

What a delight. A beautiful property, staff was excellent. Really enjoyed the live music at sunset in the garden and the two meals we had here were really great. A true oasis in amongst the chaos of road tripping in India! Wish we had stayed an extra night
