"Great Hotel, Pricing is deceptive"
The hotel is an amazing hotel, it's rated as 5 stars and comes pretty close - I'd say it's about 4.5. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's located in a very central are of New Delhi, walking distance to many attractions. The only negative thing I'll say is about the taxes and fees. The hotel seems cheaper than most other 4-5 star hotels, but they add 22.5% tax to everything, including the nightly stay and minibar! 12.5% is a government hotel tax, and they add another 10% "service/resort" fee to that too. So if a can of soda from your minibar is 100 rupees, you'll be paying 122.50 after taxes and fees, which adds up quickly. Of course you don't know about this until you checkout and get the bill. So the hotel isn't as cheap as it might appear, however it is a great hotel and I wouldn't mind staying there again.

"Good value for an airport hotel"
The staff was very attentive. The room was small but very clean and well designed for convenience. I paid extra for shuttle from the airport and I was met on time. This was my first trip to India and the hotel made it easy to start my trip as a solo traveler. I usually am a budget traveler but felt it was worth the splurge to stay at the airport for convenience in connecting to a domestic flight the next morning.

"Good location, but needs improvement"
The hotel was nicely remodeled and visually pleasing. The room was small, but to be expected given the age of the hotel. Cleanliness needed improvement, I found a used q-tip on the desk chair (gross) and dust on the floor, especially in the corners. The wait staff seemed unorganized and only semi-courteous. The host in the main floor restaurant acted as if I was interrupting him when I walked up to the desk. After some moments, he said I could take a seat wherever I wanted. The food was pretty good and cooked to my liking. Though the wines on the menu were not available, a good alternative was provided. The bar was unattended when I arrived before dinner, but the bartender soon appeared and made me a drink. When I returned after dinner, again there was no bartender. When one appeared after several minutes, he went about making drinks ordered (I assume) from the restaurant and never acknowledged my presence. After waiting several minutes, I left and went to a location down the street. Overall, the hotel was pretty good and the location couldn't be beat. I do think the management of the bar and restaurant needs some attention as well as attention to detail in room cleaning.

"Decent budget hotel"
If you're looking for something luxurious, this isn't it. But, that being said, if you're looking for a relatively functional, clean, spacious budget hotel, this is it. It's also really close to the airport. My husband and I stayed for just about 6hrs between flights. We were able to sleep well on a spacious king size bed and have a hot shower. Room was also spacious compared to other budget hotels. Hotel staff were pleasant, though nothing exceptional. There is no tea or coffee in the room and they charge for bottled water too. No safe, iron, or any of the little details. But that is to be expected I am would presume given the really economical price of a night's stay. The staff provided us with some regular water in a really disgusting jug that looked like it had not been properly washed but we didn't it (for obvious reasons). So be prepared to pay for anything extra you might want. However, there are a couple decent juice joints right below the hotel and food options near by.

New Delhi is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in New Delhi, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your New Delhi hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
