The Motel Royal exceeding our expectations. Very welcoming and friendly front desk. The balcony very well laid out with many seating options and the views were spectacular. Great walking options to restaurants, beach and view points. Will definitely recommend to friends and family visiting the area.

I often travel from PEI to Ottawa to see family and this is my favorite place to stay for the night. The view of the lake is beautiful and the motel is a perfect location with everything you need. The staff are so friendly. Sebastien is amazing! Without even me asking, he helped me take some stuff to my room when I arrived. I thought that was extremely kind.

Wonderful stay. It’s a simple motel but everything is taken care of extremely well, you can tell the owners care a lot about the details. Everything was so clean you could eat off the bath, and the front desk guy was very welcoming and helpful. Would come back in a heartbeat.
