We stayed there for six nights. Great location, easy access to MRT and local food. The facility is well kept. We loved the Onsen and lounge area. I would stay there if I visit Taiwan again.

Nice clean room with exceptional high ceiling for comfort. Limited dining and shopping options around the area but the metro station is right next to the hotel and only 1 to 2 stops to busy shopping areas. I will stay here again when visiting Taipei.

The location really can’t be beat, just a one-minute walk from Zhongxiao Xinsheng MRT Exit 3, which made getting around super easy. Check-in on the night of 15 June was a bit underwhelming. The front desk staff that night wasn’t very warm. I politely asked if it was possible to be on the same floor as my family member, and she simply said “no” without any effort to assist or offer alternatives. While she did explain the hotel details, her tone felt robotic, not what you’d expect from a hotel of this standard. It also felt like she didn’t expect guests to check in around midnight (which was our case, at around 12am on 16 June). Aside from that, the rest of the staff were great. Most front desk and concierge team members were friendly and helpful. However, staff here tend to stick strictly to rules and procedures, which can feel a bit inflexible at times. One concierge staff member who helped with our luggage on 18 June stood out for the wrong reason, he seemed impatient and unfriendly. The 2nd floor lounge was as cozy as always, but the midnight closing time felt a little early for guests looking for a quiet place to unwind later at night. Housekeeping was excellent. Every staff member we encountered was polite, efficient, and professional, definitely one of the highlights of our stay. This was our second time staying here after 2.5 years, and overall, the service has improved, likely to better cater to the many Japanese guests.

Wonderful hotel and the staff are so lovely. We had some issues with guest staying above us but the hotel staff were so kind and lovely in trying to sort this out for us. Brilliant location, less than a 10second walk to the metro station. Loads of food options around and very safe and clean. Hotel room was magnificent and spacious.

This is a hotel I definitely will revisit and stay. What I like the most is its staff and its location very close to MRT, 2 mins walking distance. If I have to recommit something, I would say a water station in every floor and no need for individually packaged for a tiny Q-tip for example. Less plastic usage should be idea. I know it a Japanese franchise hotel but everyone should do their part to make this world less polluted. Hope this helps. Best, Wen
