K Hotel (aka Kodak Hotel on some American search engines) was perfectly situated in a very safe neighborhood. Easy access up and down to the rooms, you needed a fob to get on the elevator, which made it feel extra safe. The staff was incredible. They were super sweet and kind. We did not have the breakfast, but it looked really good. You do get free coffee in the lobby. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if I ever come back. Very close to the MRT, within walking distance.
Overall is good. I’d give 4/5. Staffs and cleaners are really amazing. I’d give 10/10 for the services. For the room with balcony is kinda tiny for 2 people and 2 big luggages. The curtain in this room is out of date. We upgraded to the bigger room that is nicer and more space. But no window. The bathtub is too high for short person. Breakfast is simple and good. The location is really nice and walkable to shopping area, restaurants and quiet at night.
The room was very small but it’s Okay for one person. The hotel is clean and quiet. I had a good sleep there. In addition the breakfast is very delicious.
Great breakfast, friendly staff, clean, updated room and a great quiet central location. Access to washer and dryer on property. What else could be better?
Good hotel. Room was not particularly large but workable for two people. Bed was comfortable. No window in the room but one in the bathroom, which seemed strange, fortunately it had a shade which could be lowered. Carpet looked like it could use a cleaning. Included breakfast buffet was generally good, but geared more towards asian customers. My main complaint was the condition of some of the towels which were placed in room. I've used bath towels in better condition to wash my car. Think it relects poorly, when nice towels always leave a good impression. Bit of a walk to any MRT station or Taipei Main but not objectionable.
We loved that breakfast was available for guests. It made things much simpler to get our days started.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Omg i stayed only one day but i was really cold when i stay in this hotel they have heater but The heater is limited to 18 degrees and I couldn't sleep because the room was so cold in the evening And I get allergic to my body when it's cold, but in the end, I had to go to the pharmacy and buy medicine the next day, and I don't recommend this hotel when I travel on a cold day.
This hotel was in a great location, about a 10-15 minute walk to multiple subway stations. It was down a side street though, which had its pros and cons. Pros being that it was much quieter and more secluded. Cons was that it was a bit darker when walking back at night, but not terribly so. I would recommend this place and would consider coming back if I was exploring the same area of Taipei again!
The hotel was not as easy to find as described in some reviews although it is only 0.45 mi away from the Taipei main train station. We arrived around almost midnight after trying hard to walk to the hotel. The front desktop staff were friendly to serve us when we arrived which we appreciated. The facility seems a little bit dated. The bathroom had no space to hang clothes with no hooks at all which was very inconvenient. The hotel breakfast was very good. Our room was on the 10th floor and our balcony was facing the roof of the building across with residents living there and hanging their clothes on the roof floor. We could not open the curtain or go out to the balcony at all or else we could see them face to face. We received a bag of chips and 2 breakfast vouchers from a nearby cafe as our Expedia VIP amenity.
A solid 8-8.5/10 hotel, to be fair for what I paid (~$150) I would say a 10/10. I am comparing this to ones found in Canada so it might be unfair. Staff were friendly, space was clean, and it wasn't located too far from the station. Definitely better than the ones located south of Taipei station.
I would hope for a slightly more spacious room and a window. That would make it perfect.
the rate i got on internet was at least 30 dollars cheaper, i don't know i got on the higher rate, but since i book only at last minute and didn't get much choice and afterall not a huge deal...but i am puzzled about the final hotel rate
