Great location as amongst all of the action in Ximen but just a street back away from the bustle. Just over 5+ minute walk to Ximen MRT EXIT 6. Stayed in twin room which was clean and spacious. Was nice to have the communal room/kitchen option upstairs L15 with microwave and water/tea/coffee. Aircon in room was not overly strong even on lowest temp (I was in TPE with excessive heat time of year) and mini bar not super cold either and had no temperature setting (but these 2 things were bearable and kinda expected for this standard of hotel). Reception staff was a bit hit and miss with friendliness but overall had a great stay here.

Great budget hotel near a number of highly-rated restaurants, night markets and shops. Staff is friendly. Twin room we stayed in was much bigger than I expected given that Taipei is a small city (ie. Less square footage expected for hotel rooms)

Posh affordable hotel near Ximending

Hotel is everything you can hope for for a short stay in Taipei. Only flaw is I was issued with a tattered bath towel on our last day. Please check the quality of the towels you are issuing.

The room we were given was extremely small — nothing like what was shown online. My main requirement was to have a desk to work at, but there was none. In fact, there was barely enough space to move around the room. This was a major letdown and not what I expected from a hotel that is marked as 4-star — at best, it felt like a 2-star experience. To make matters worse, we were given towels with holes in them, which is simply unacceptable at any standard. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the quality and accuracy of the listing. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

Service was excellent. Reception personnel was very helpful. Towels were old and frayed but clean. Some ammenities you would expect from hotel like soap was not provided, but lots of convenience store nearby to purchase from.

Didn’t love this hotel. Bare bones and at least fairly clean. But no breakfast or perks and the staff didn’t really great you or say anything really. Wish I had made a different choice for my final days in Taipei. I also didn’t love the area - find a different neighborhood to stay in!

Nice hotel although missing a few nice to have amenities and also soap for some reason (the weirdest one for me). We ended up using the shower gel as soap but if you don’t want to do that, make sure to buy some soap. The free drinks in the lobby are great and especially nice on a hot day. Overall decent hotel with good cleanliness, nice staff, just missing some washroom items.
