Helpful staff and good bed. very nice breakfast.

For a hotel that is situated on the main street of Dublin I was surprised on how quiet it was at night. The choice at breakfast is fantastic and should cater for almost everyone's tastes. I happened to be celebrating a special birthday during my stay and on the 'big day' I received a lovely surprise to my room marking the occasion. Although it was small in size I thought the gesture itself was a fantastic personal touch. They didn't have to do it but they did. I found all of the staff I spoke to polite, warm and professional. I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Staff terrible, very bad service and terrible aptitude.

The Palm was such a lovely place to start our vacation! The location is great and the staff were kind and helpful. The room itself was spacious with plenty of character. We wish we could have stayed for longer. The only drawback is parking as it is a very busy road.

Overall a nice hotel, although a bit out of the city center and not close to anything but the motorway A car or taxi necessary. We arrived on a hot day. Reservation made months in advance but received their “last room available” which was an ADA room with no air conditioning. A fan was brought in but offered little relief. We learned later that there were rooms in hotel that did offer air Conditioning. Restaurant was large and was very busy. Food order received in timely manner but no additional contact with servers. Had to seek out someone to obtain bill. A convenience store is within a few steps to the hotel which we utilized a couple times for snacks and fresh made breakfast pastries on days we didn’t have time for a sit down breakfast. Nice hotel to use if in transit without a vehicle for a night but not longer stays due to logistical issues. Airport is 40 min away and can be costly if using taxi during high traffic periods.

Beautiful property and lovely rooms, wonderful staff. The restaurant was great too. Easy to get to and from Dublin with one bus and a little walking.

Beautiful breakfast and stay! Interior decor and setting is very good. Bellinter house used to be a great value stay, reasonably near Dublin airport with sauna/hot tub complimentary. Since the development of the luxury spa prices are understandably higher. I was disappointed to learn of extra charges for guests to use any sauna or hot tub since the upgrade. Its a payment for the entire Thermal Suite or nothing. I will look to the sister property Ballagh house in future- Bellinter appears aimed at Luxury Hotel Stay clientale now.
