I had a wonderful Quiet stay. It was a perfect short escape from life. The Inn is a beautiful historic building and beautifully decorated. The bed was super soft and comfy!

We had a lovely stay at the Stone Maiden Inn. It’s in a great location, within easy walking distance of downtown Stratford and the Festival theatres, so we hardly needed the car. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful, and the inn itself was charming and comfortable. We’d happily stay here again.

The bed was extremely comfortable! The place is like going back in time, a gem. The inn is very clean and in a great location. Our only complaint was an effective but loud air conditioner.

If you’d like to step back in time but still enjoy modern day amenities, this is the place for you. This establishment has been operating as an Inn since 1905! The proprietor, Tim is warm and welcoming; your accommodation is walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had a super time and we’ll be back.

Stone Maiden Inn is a charming place to stay in Stratford. The rooms are beautifully and individually decorated, each with its own unique character and style. The layout of the inn is thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while still offering plenty of privacy. If you're looking for accommodations with personality instead of a typical hotel, this is a wonderful choice and located within walking distance of downtown core. Great location. Easy to walk to downtown and theatres. Issues with plumbing caused a backup in the shower and toilet during the night. After ringing the proprietor several times in the morning and waiting it was repaired.

The owners are really nice. The location is good. The street is quiet. The room was clean with air conditioning. There is plenty of parking. It is beside a train track but it never went passed when we were there. We were told it only passes by once in the morning between 8-9 and once in the afternoon between 5-6.

This property is in a great location to downtown. Easy walk to Avon theatre, waterfront, shops. Building is an old hotel, room was clean but bathroom with shower quite small but adequate. The air conditioner took all day and evening to cool the room down but not that big of an issue for us as we were out a lot. Lovely grounds and owners were friendly. The online ad said that tea and coffee with pastries /snacks would be served in the mornings. Just tea and coffee available.

Tim was great! We were some of the first guests this season and really enjoyed the inn and it's history. It's convenient to the theaters and walking distance to downtown. The inn doggie is the cutest. Can't wait to see him again! Parking was safe and easy.
