The staff was friendly and helpful.

Perfect location right on the square across from the capital. Very walkable to many restaurants and shops. Love the restaurant- The Post. Have stayed here both times I have visited Madison.

We reserved and PAID for a Legacy Suite but got a 2 queen traditional room instead. The hotel blamed it on Expedia but I'm guessing they just over booked it. My wife and I were hoping for a romantic get away, which we are not able to afford much. We were both really disappointed. They didn't adjust our price because we booked through Expedia. On a positive note, the hotel was beautiful and clean. The town in of Beloit, WI is cute with a charming farmers market.

Simply the BEST stay! Tony and Beth are the kindest hosts! The space is cozy and intimate; perfect for special occasions. My husband and I have had the privilege of staying here 3 times, and this will always be one of our favorite spots for a getaway! We highly recommend this gem!

Very professional and clean and the staff was amazing

Staff was nice and friendly, however the hotel is falling into disrepair. Many ceiling leaks and water damage all over property including in the pool area which was actively leaking. Elevator out of service due to a flood on the lower level. Pool water was fairly cold and our room consistently smelled like pot or cigarettes and we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. We had to sleep all night with the bathroom exhaust fan running. Complimentary breakfast was good. Older hotel that was nice years ago but is clearly not in good condition or kept up any longer. Minus the room smelling, it was at least clean and acceptable.

Overall this was a great stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful, our room was exceptionally clean, and breakfast was decent. My complaints were pretty minor: there was some mildew/mold growing around the pool. When I mentioned it to the front desk, they said they would get maintenance on it right away. We couldn’t have asked for a better response. We didn’t say anything about the loud rattling sound in the AC, because we were exhausted from all day tournaments. However, I am confident that if we had brought it up, the issue would have been addressed. Again, all of this is really minor and did not outweigh the positives. We would definitely stay here again.
