The bartender and entire pool staff was amazing. The spa services were excellent. The property was in fantastic condition—landscaping and florals were gorgeous. I do think the rooms are due for a little upgrade as far as carpet and curtains and bedding. Overall our stay was perfect.

Not bad at all

We loved staying at this hotel! Rooms were very comfortable and included an upgraded coffee maker and helpful amenities like smart charging, makeup towel, and sitting area/desk for business travelers. The staff was incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the menu had a variety of items. Very convenient to downtown KC and we appreciated the paid self parking behind the hotel. Fun fact - team Argentina stayed at the hotel during the World Cup so the hotel still has a large mural displayed to support the team. Highly recommend this hotel in KC!

My wife and I had a very nice stay at Margaritaville KC. It felt like you were on an island far away from the big city. We will be going back with kid kids and grandkids soon.

Overall, disappointed with our stay. Definitely not worth what we paid for. There is not a front desk person so its hard to ask any questions or get any issues resolved unless the restaurant is open (we called the manager phone number that we found in the community room and they didn't answer). Also, the email listed on their website does not work. We were not provided any information about Wi Fi access or check out times when we checked in and that information was no where in our room. We had conflicting check out times on our reservation confirmation email and with no one to ask, we decided to wake up early to make sure we didn't incur a late check out fee. We didn't have the chance to dine at Ophelias but there are a few cafes and restaurants withing walking distance. Depending on the purpose of your trip, this may or may not be the right place for you. There's potential with this place but I would not recommend at this time especially for the price (must mention we visited during the World Cup).
