I stayed here for one night while attending a conference. The lobby and room looked recently updated and were very clean. The smart TV worked great. We were a bit uneasy about having a room with and outside door, but the woman at the front desk was very reassuring and she was right, we had no issues and it was a very quiet night. I didn’t see any issues on the property or in the area like what other reviewers mentioned.

Property was great. Staff was not helpful as far as making recommendations for restaurants nor must-see places in Truro.

Checking in was bad, they didn't have our reservation. We were given an "upgraded" room which was a horrible. It was on the 3rd floor, and they later told me (at check out) that the 3rd floor hadn't been renovated yet. The room we got was dirty (we found 2 used balloons on the floor), I am not sure it had been cleaned at all. We found 2 kids toys left behind from the last guest. The pull-out couch was horrible to sleep on (we had booked a 2 queen room, and got a king + pull-out couch). I know most pull-outs are not great, but this was the worst ever. The mattress fell below the metal frame, so when you sat on it you sunk into the metal. The mattress was about 8-9cm thick and not at all comfortable. There was a curtain between the rooms but it wasn't fully attached any more; about half hooks were broken and hanging down.

Brought the family on a little east coast getaway and couldn't ask for a better location to return to and unwind in the evenings. Spectacular views on a peaceful cove with every accommodation you could ever need. Exceptional, absolutely loved it!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent.

Second stay here. Rooms are clean. They aren’t all the same size so ask when booking. Staff great. Food excellent
