Charming restored property convenient to shopping, dining, The Rooms museum and Signal Hill. Our accommodation was lovely, full of character and quite roomy. My only complaint is that noise from outside and other rooms was occasionally loud, even late at night.
Fantastic location on the harbourfront, walking distance to downtown. The historic building is full of charm, and my room was clean and comfortable. Loved the courtyard for a quick dinner, a drink, and local entertainment—the fish and chips were excellent. Friendly staff and on-site parking made the stay even better.
What a great hotel it is right downtown across from the harbour. We found the hotel to be exceptional with regards to customers and cheating their guests like they were family. It will be my go to hotel in St. John’s going forward.
Have stayed here in the past and definitely recommend. Staff are lovely and helpful, convenient location and easy parking. Close to everything in and around St John’s, great value for the money :)
The staff were always pleasant to desl with, and the room was spacoius and clean. The breakfast options were fine for a short stay, but limited and repetative for a longer stay. Music in the courtyard is a nice idea, but not great if you're trying to get to sleep early. At least they stopped at 11pm.
Great location on the waterfront. Ample parking (free permit from front desk). Old character warehouse and room was on the large side, large bathroom with an interesting walk-in (and walk-up!) shower. Room was a bit hot (heat wave) and air conditioning was a little weak/lacking. We tried so hard to get two beds but they were either out or it didn’t exist, which was unfortunate. Good continental breakfast.
The motel was within walking distance to restaurants and shops.
The staff were excellent providing us with parking vouchers and complimentary drinks. The room was clean and charming. I was disappointed in the options available at the continental breakfast.
Very unique property with so much history and character. The room was amazing, comfortable and clean. We will return for sure next year and recommend this property to anyone looking.
