When we first arrived at the property everything seemed good. We immediately changed into our swimming suits and took our kids for a swim and that was fun and nice. However once we went back to our room we saw a cockroach while my husband was changing our daughter's diaper. It was crawling on the floor near our baby. It was at this point that I decided to check the Google reviews and sure enough I saw many with pictures and videos of cockroaches in the rooms. We were instantly disgusted. We had already tried to call room service once at this point and no one had answered the phone so that was frustrating. We waited an hour and called again and this time someone answered. We told her that we had seen a cockroach and she offered to move us to a different room but we know how cockroaches are and if they're in one room they're in all of them. So we left. I'm hoping that I will be able to get a refund. Also I set up a payment plan for this with affirm and it did not say anywhere anything about a $100 deposit. However when we arrived they did insist on taking a card and did a $100 deposit hold for the night. Fortunately that hold is no longer on our account but it did make things hard last night in order to get dinner we had to dip into our savings which I had no intention of doing. So it would have been nice to know they were going to do that. I wish I would have checked the reviews first. The rooms are extremely old dirty and dingy. Would not recommend.

We felt cleanliness as soon as we entered the room. The staff was professional. The breakfast was a breakfast and the cafe was well designed. It was a pleasurable stay on the last night our journey across southern Utah!

The rooms are very old. The heater wasn’t working in the first room we got. We called the staff but they refused to provide another room. Only brought us extra blankets after following up several times. The next day they gave us another room and that was fine.

Stayed at Red Lion St George for the first time last year. Really liked it so returned this year for two nights. Great location, great indoor/outdoor pool and good free hot breakfast coupled with reasonable rates! Highly recommend it.

I would definitely recommend this place. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was included and a bit of everything. The pool was half indoor and half outdoor. It was open until 10pm and was heated which made it more enjoyable at night time. They also had a pool table and a mini golf course. This place was awesome.
