Smugglers Notch Inn is a charming place in northern Vermont. Just off of Route 15. Part of the property is 200 years old, the other part is more than 100 years old. Everything is beautifully appointed, the staff is very helpful, and there's a hot, made to order breakfast each morning. We would come here again.

The Inn is historic which is appealing. But, elderly people or people with disabilities should beware that floors are uneven and the stairs are steep & a bit rickety. That said, the staff was very accommodating & helped with the luggage. The room was clean & quiet. Breakfast was the best I've ever had! A bonus is that there is a Tavern right next door that served delicious food.
